Santos is a half moon betta fish. I understand the controversal ethics surrounding long-finned betta fish but in the end we have to understand that a boycott won't stop the breeding of these unethical fish due to it being on such a small scale. The truth is that pet stores such as PetCo, Petsmart, are multi-billion dollar companies that don't care about individual sales. Your boycott is doing nothing. Get an ethically bred fish all you want but the amount of love and care I put into Santos is more than the majority of what you boycotters are doing. Save individuals. That's all you can do until society undergoes a psychological change.



Rant aside, Santos has a very early stage of fin rot, likely due to a nitrite spike we had weeks ago that's now

gone. I'll be ordering some Seachem Kanaplex some time today. I also need to order some more variety. I don't like getting pellets usually, but he can't live on freeze dried bloodworms and freeze dried brine shrimp. He's fine for now; I monitor very closely. I'll likely get some live food and replicate a natural environment. I've already spent ~$200 on him, which sounds silly considering he's in a 5 gallon tank. It's just easier for me to manage right now. When I can, he'll get a 10 gallon.



Tomorrow I'm getting a cart as well. For my puritans, it's a THC vape. For my extreme puritans, MARIJUANA. But it's $35. Seriously? Who charges $35 for a cart? But whatever. Maybe I've been spoiled by my $25 plug. Who knows.



Today in my sociology class we went over a very interesting topic on whether or not Generation Z is the most narcissistic generation. There are things I agree and disagree about… and we also talked about gun control. The constitution states that we have a right to bare arms but our founding fathers also didn't take into consideration how drastically different guns would be.



Anyway, we're still working on when we were wallflowers and I'll likely finish c&p They Call Him Brooks by friday. I'm still working on my Warrior Cat herb guide— stay tuned my warrior cats kids.
